"1/02/26 Update: I wasn't sure if there would be any improvement in the store conditions for this visit, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found very nice rib eye steaks and pork chops in a well stocked meat counter. Also, the produce, bakery, and deli all looked fresh. Additionally, I saw two guys working the dairy section. My conclusion is that someone cares and is making a real effort to improve... Up to 4 stars from 3 based on the improvements... 5 stars is going to require some consistency in this new and improved store execution... I'll check back in a few weeks. 3 star review, but could/should be higher. Let's start with the good... Their app. typically has good discounts. The store is clean, and for a "local market", has a decent selection of most things. The produce was fresh and well stocked. Now, the not so good... It's December 16th, and they had a 12 pack of Activia Yogurt on the shelf that expired on November 14th! Sheesh! I went to look at their meat dept. to see if they may have had a prime rib roast that could meet our families needs (4-5 ribs from small end, decent marbling, etc)., but the roasts looked like "horsemeat", just lean as could be, no marbling, just giant muscle fiber and near zero marbling... Then I looked around at the rest of the beef, and it just looked like upgraded slabs of muscle, with some off-colored and clearly on the edge... Not a great look Ridleys. For me to ever buy meat from Ridleys, they really need to improve the quality, especially the beef. Also, whoever manages the dairy and meat cases needs to step up their game on a daily basis... No friggin excuses for >30days past expiration dates on perishable foods."
